6 HIGH EXPLOSIVES TRAINING RANGES CLEARANCE (HETR) 6 - Mission is to safely and efficiently conduct range clearance operations and supporting activities throughout Afghanistan and the CENTCOM AOR. - Customer is the USFOR-A Joint Engineering, Directorate (JENG) - Contractor is Janus Global Operations Range Survey 84 U.S. Ranges currently identified for clearance Over 84,000 munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) destroyed 82 ranges have been surveyed 62 ranges have been surface cleared 47 ranges have been sub-surface cleared 44 ranges certified with certificates issued by Directorate of Mine Action Coordination (DMAC) 19 clearance teams located throughout the country Range Survey Demolition Shot
7 ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE TEAMS (ERT) AFGHANISTAN 7 - Augment USFOR-A military structure supporting projects in Bagram AF and Kandahar AF - Customer is the USFOR-A Environmental POL Drums - Contractor is URS (AECOM) 86 bases/fobs supported for closure and transfer to-date Total Affected Soil (in treatment via land farm) to-date (Cubic Yards), 43,576 Individual Lead Acid Batteries Demilitarized, 91,865 Total Waste Treated (evaporated/neutralized/incinerated) to-date (Kgs), 1,466,735 Total Liquid Waste Treated to-date (Kgs)(Recycled), 67,258,770 German Pharmacy Cleanup Destruction of Existing Berms
8 TASK FORCE POWER (TFP), AFGHANISTAN 8 - All DOD occupied facilities are inspected for electrical Life, Health, Safety (P1 - LHS) hazards, as well as, all non-code compliant (P2 - Priority) electrical conditions. - Customer is USFOR-A TF POWER Exposed Wiring - Contractor is EXP Federal - 10 electrical inspect and repair teams along with management of the TF Power electrical materials yard located at Bagram Airfield Electrical Hazard - 2 electrical inspector/sme teams to DCMA-A in support of DCMA s LOGCAP contract oversight responsibilities - 4,375,578 Flashes and priorities identified and mitigated since 2011 Life Health Safety
9 TASK FORCE SAFE (SAFETY ACTIONS FIRE AND ELECTRICAL), CENTCOM 9 - Inspect, update and repair LHS hazards for low voltage electrical power systems (600 volts and below) within the United States Central Command s area of responsibility (CENTCOM AOR). Also included is development and execution of a Fire Safety Assessment and Training Program. - Customer is US Army Forces, US Central Command (ARCENT) - Contractor is EXP Federal - 3 teams in Kuwait, 4 teams in Iraq and 2 teams in Jordan - 30,918 Flashes and priorities identified and mitigated File Name
10 ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT REDUCTION (EFR) AFGHANISTAN - Provide environmental services to reduce the existing military structure throughout the Combined Joint Operational Area-Afghanistan (CJOA-A). This work includes the removal of derelict, outdated or surplus structures, infrastructure, force protection emplacements or other such assets in an attempt to remediate formerly occupied DoD sites to a condition suitable for re-use or return to the Afghanistan Government. - Customer is the 518th RSSB, 204th CMT - Contractor is Tetra Tech Teams working projects at Kandahar AF, FOB Fenty and Bagram AF 270 Miscellaneous Structures removed 2,046 HESCO removed 1,562 T-Wall Barriers/Jersey Barriers removed
