What is the Marine Corps League s Purpose & Who Are The Members? The Marine Corps League was created by Congressional Charter in 1937 to support both active duty and retired Marines and their families, and to perpetuate the spirit and traditions of the Corps. Nationally, the Marine Corps League has over 76,000 members in 1,100 detachments with representation in all 50 states. The League Charter has expanded over the years to embrace all honorably discharged members of the U.S. Armed Services and their families.

Grass Roots Community Involvement The League plays an active role in our community promoting patriotism, supporting our veterans and their families, and protecting the vulnerable. Our members are role models for our youth, better preparing them for the responsibilities of citizenship by promoting our Corps traditions and values of Honor, Courage and Commitment.

T e s t i m o n i a l s As a Corporate Sponsor of the Marine Corps League, we at Innovative Solutions are proud to be a part of the incredible work being done right here in the CSRA. The investment we ve made goes to children and veterans, armed service families and students alike. It feels great to serve our community alongside the Marine Corps League. Debbie Renew and Rae Leigh Warner - Innovative Solutions Every major patriotic event held in Aiken has the Marine Corps League stamp on it. This organization has defined patriotism to the Aiken community through its words and actions. Aiken is a much richer city because of the efforts of the individuals wearing their bright red jackets. Jeff Wallace Editor - Aiken Standard

T e s t i m o n i a l s I have been associated with the Marine Corps League for quite a number of years and am proud to know they exist in my county (Aiken). They have served their country in times of War and Conflicts and now continue serving their country and community day after day. Ronnie Young - Chairman Aiken Couny Council From being the driving force behind the Aiken Veterans Mermorial Park to providing American Flags that adorn the City s intersections, the Aiken Marine Corps League is always in the forefront in supporting this community. Mayor Fred Cavanaugh

T e s t i m o n i a l s When I think of the Marine Corps League, I see the heart of our United States of America, a combat Marine. The sight and thoughts of them ignite my patriotic juices. Their actions have and will continue to remind us that the Marine protects the freedoms that we enjoy yet often take for granted. May their patriotic undertakings endure forever, thus insuring the safety of our great country. Greg Ryberg South Carolina State Senator
