4 Responsibility of a Course Coordinator 1. Declare number of Staff (trained and exempted from Online Fire safety training) by 8 th April to OSHE 2. Disseminate the instructions for the Online Fire Safety course and assist department staff to access IVLE (refer to slides and FAQs provided for your guidance) 3. Monitor online training status and ensure100% completion by end June 13 (through SAP from 10 th April) 4. Final declaration to be made to OSHE on 21 st July

7 Administration of Online Fire Safety Course Launching of the course ware on 1 st March OHR will update the SAP system by 10 th of the month (starting from April 13) Monthly updates on progress of staff trained online will be reflected to NUS Senior Management during RSMC meeting Consolidation on Final declaration will be done on 21 st June Update of Full Automation will be done in December 2013 or earlier

9 To Access online Fire Safety Course in IVLE You may access OSHE IVLE Safety Courses Webpage via IVLE Homepage at: Click on ENTER if you are in the NUS Campus

10 Once you are in the IVLE homepage, Go to Extreme Right hand corner of IVLE Homepage Under NUS Resources, Click on OSHE Safety Modules

11 You ll come to a webpage that consists of all the OSHE Safety Online courses here:

12 Click on YES to sign up for the online Fire Safety course. Then click on Back to Workspace

13 You will see all the components of the Online Fire Safety course here: There are basically: Multimedia courseware, online assessment & Course Evaluation Survey To take the Online Fire Safety Course, click on Multimedia:

14 You ll be able see a voice over Multimedia Presentation that last about 16mins.

15 You can download a copy of the course notes in pdf format by clicking on the attachment icon at the right hand corner.

16 To take the online Fire Safety Assessment, Go back to the Fire Safety Module page: Click Start to begin the Online Assessment:

17 When you ve finished the online Assessment, You can checked the Answers of your completed Assessment by clicking on Detailed Responses & Answers
