4 How To: Set up a Profile Your profile is a place to share more information about yourself, manage favorite charities and privacy settings, and community messaging. Get Started My Info Add Your Profile Photo Board Memberships My Organizations Profile Settings Return to Table of Contents
5 How To: Set up a Profile Get Started 1. Click on your Name in the top left corner to access your profile.
6 How To: Set up a Profile My Info My Profile is a personal page where you can tell your story and support your favorite organizations. 1. Click Edit on the sections of the info page that you would like to fill in.
7 How To: Set up a Profile Add Your Profile Photo You also can add a profile picture and additional photos to display in your albums. 1. Click Add Photo to add profile picture. 2. Click Browse to search for a photo from your computer. 3. Check the Terms of Use and Use As My Profile Photo. 4. Pick a photo album to store your photo. 5. Click Save then Done.
8 How To: Set up a Profile Board Memberships Adding your board membership(s) is optional. It will be preloaded when logging hours or creating an event with the organization you serve with. 1. Click Add New next to Board Memberships. 2. Select your Board Role. 3. Select Yes or No if you represent the company on the board. 4. Enter the begin and end date of the time you served. 5. Click Select an Organization and search for the charity, select from your favorites or Add Your Own. 6. Click Save.
9 How To: Set up a Profile My Organizations My Organizations is a place to select, manage and display your favorite charities. 1. Click Edit in the My Organizations section to search for your favorite organization by name or EIN (U.S. only). 2. Click Select in the search results for the organization you want to add as a favorite. 3. Press Save then Done.
10 How To: Set up a Profile Settings Settings allow you to manage your privacy and customize the look and feel of your profile. Use the Privacy section to choose a public or private profile setting. Use the Language section to choose from eight different language options. Use the Theme option to change the color of your profile background. 1. Privacy: Click Privacy, select preferences, then click Save. 2. Language: Click Language, select preference, then click Edit Language. 3. Theme: Click Theme, choose color, then click Save. Note: Public Profile: Only Robert Half employees can view some of your activity (i.e., volunteer events that you re attending) Private Profile: Appear as anonymous to all employees

13 How To: Find a Charity 1. Click the charities tab and select Search Organizations from the drop-down menu. Enter the name or EIN of the organization (U.S. only) in the Charity Search field and then click Search. General Organizations Click filter by to apply various filters. 1. You can filter your search through the following: Location - Select the country, state, and/or city of the charity Category - Select the charity category from the drop-down menu Filter - Select Accepting Donations 2. Click Search. 3. Click View Page to view the organization s charity page. NOTE: If you do not find your charity, you can select Suggest a New Org. or read search tips located at the right of the Search Organizations page. Suggest a New Org is accessed from the Help link located under the Info tab.

15 How To: Log New Hours My Events is your personal volunteer dashboard. Use Log New Hours to log the volunteer hours that you provided or plan on providing for an event. 16 How To: Log New Hours Log New Hours Log past and future events. You can go back to the My Events page to edit hours at any time. 1. Click the Volunteer tab at the top. 2. Click Log New Hours.
17 How To: Log New Hours Event Summary 1. Enter the Number of Hours you have volunteered or plan to volunteer. 2. Enter the Event Name. 3. Select a Participation Date and Time. Check Event Repeats if the event is recurring. 4. Enter the event Address, Country, State/Region, County, City, and ZIP or Postal Code. If this is a virtual event, click Virtual Event. 5. Click Select an Organization. Select the organization from your Favorites. OR Search by name or EIN (U.S. only) (advanced search is available) If you cannot locate your organization, click Add your own, fill out the organization information and click Save. 6. If you d like to add additional details, click Add More Details. If you re done entering information, click Done and you will see a pop-up window that shows you successfully logged your volunteer hours.
18 Eligible for a Grant? 1. You need to log at least one hour to an eligible organization to be eligible for a volunteer grant. You ll receive a popup immediately after logging hours to apply for a grant. 2. Review your volunteer and charity information. 3. Select the Designation drop-down window if you would like the funds to be used for a specific chapter, activity or fund within the organization. 4. Place a check mark next to all events associated with the organization and click Submit. Note: Missed the grant pop-up or accidentally closed the window? You can still apply for a volunteer grant. 20 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Create Event (Recruit) is a way to create a volunteer event for other employees to join. Event Organizers can edit the information at any time through the My Events page. 21 How To: Create Event (Recruit) My Volunteering Create an event for other employees to join. You can go back to the My Events page to edit hours at any time. 1. Click the Volunteer tab at the top. 2. Click Create Event (Recruit).
22 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Event Summary 1. Enter the Event Name and Description. 2. Select an Event Start/End Date and Time - Check Event Repeats if the event is recurring. - Select Is your event ongoing? if the event continues indefinitely. 3. Select an Event Type and Category to better define your event. 4. Enter the event location details. If this is a virtual event, click Virtual Event. 5. Click Select an Organization. Select the organization from your Favorites OR search by name or EIN (U.S. only). (advanced search is available) If you cannot locate your organization, click Add your own Organization and click Save. 6. Choose either Draft (event will not be visible to others) or Live (if you want it published and visible). 7. Click Save & View or Add More Details.
23 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Add More Details (optional) 1. Add a Description for your volunteer event. 2. To add a Photo for the event, click Add A Photo, select Choose File, check the disclaimer and click Save. 3. Add a Document for the event, click Add A Document, select Browse, Name your file and click Add. 4. To add a Contact Name & , check Show if you are the main contact or click Add Contact Info to add an additional person. 5. Review your Location Details. 6. Enter an Event Capacity (max number of volunteers needed) or Unlimited Volunteers. If you select an event capacity, select Activate/Manage Waitlist if you d like users to join a waitlist.
24 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Event organizers can add waitlists, activities and shifts to an event. You can make the event private or public. Add More Details Continued (optional) 1. You can Activate Shifts & Activities if there are different activities or duties for the event. Select Add a Shift & Activity and enter Shift/Activity Name, Date/Time (or ongoing); enter a Description; select the number of volunteers needed and click Add Shift. 2. You can also add Default Participation hours for attendees. 3. Note if this will be a public or private event in Event Privacy. 4. When you finish adding event information, click Save & New OR Manage Participants.
25 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Manage Participants You can add yourself and others to your event. 1. If you are participating in the event, click the green plus sign next to Add Yourself. Enter your hours, select a shift and board membership (if applicable), and click Update. 2. If you are adding people to your event, click Add Individual People. a. Enter the participant s name, partial name or , and click Search. b. Next to the participant s name, click Add to event. 3. Enter the participant s hours logged, participation date and time.
26 How To: Create Event (Recruit) Manage Participants You can add yourself and others to your event. 1. To add multiple people at a time to an event, click Add Multiple People. In the pop-up, Click Here to download the formatted spreadsheet and follow the attached instructions. 2. Follow the prompts in steps 2 and 3. Click Add. 3. Click Close. 4. Enter the participant s first and last name, participation date and hours. 5. Click Add. 6. When finished, click Save & View or Add More Details.
27 How To: Create Event (Recruit) People & Participation You can add yourself and others to your event. 1. Choose My Events under the Volunteer tab. 2. Click the name of your event to be directed to your Event Page, where you can Add to Calendar, Copy This Event, and Send Event Message to participants. 3. Use the link Invite Coworkers to search for employees who might want to participate in your event. 4. Click on Edit this Event to modify the event. 5. To remove the event, click on the Volunteer tab and go to My Events. 6. To delete the event, click Delete.

31 How To: Search for a Volunteer Event Volunteer Type By default, you will see Robert Half events within a 50 mile radius of your work ZIP code. You can choose to select events by type, or view by list, calendar or map views. 1. To search by term, enter text into the Enter Keywords field. 2. Click Search. Note: You can also filter by date, location or skills. 34 Participate in an Event View Event Page Open Event After selecting an event from the event search, the event page will display all information to participate. 1. Under the Volunteer tab click Search Events. 2. You can search by the filters on the left or type search terms in the Keywords field at the top of the page. 3. Click on the event you d like to join and view the event page. 4. Click Participate on the top right of this page.
35 Participate in an Event Participate Open Event When an event still needs volunteers, you can fill out the participant information form. 1. Click I m ready to log hours or I haven t participated yet (which means you ll return to the site later to log your hours). 2. If there are shifts/activities for this event, you will have the option to join particular shifts. 3. Enter a participation date. 4. Answer any custom questions (if applicable). 5. Click Submit.
36 Participate in an Event Add to Outlook Calendar 1. A pop-up will appear stating that you are registered for the event. 2. Select Click Here if you d like to add the volunteer event to your calendar. 3. Click Outlook Calendar. 4. Download and open the Appointment document to your Outlook Calendar.
37 How To: Apply for a Volunteer Grant
38 How To: Apply for a Volunteer Grant My Giving To be eligible to apply for a grant, you must log your hours within the system via Log New Hours. 1. Select the Give tab, then click My Grants. Note: You may request a volunteer grant for $15/hour for each hour volunteered to support your community service efforts. The total maximum match you can receive, regardless of whether you donate time, money or both is $1,000.
39 How To: Apply for a Volunteer Grant 1. Click the green bar that says, Match eligible donations found. Click to View. The green bar will only appear if you are eligible to receive a volunteer grant or if you have a donation that is eligible for a match. If you enter hours prior to the date of a volunteer event, it will not show up as eligible for a grant until that date. 2. Click Apply Now to the right of the charity name. 3. To proceed with applying for the grant, you must affirm that your volunteer hours meet the eligibility requirements via the pop-up statement. 4. If you agree, select Yes, I affirm and click Next.

Select the Designation drop-down window if you would like the funds to be used for a specific chapter, activity or fund within the organization. 7. Place a check mark next to all events associated with the organization and click Submit.

42 How To: Make a Credit Card Donation You can make direct credit card donations through charity pages. NOTE FOR USERS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES: Credit card donations are processed by a U.S.-based charity, so consult a tax advisor to see if your local tax laws allow U.S. tax receipts for tax benefit purposes. 43 How To: Make a Credit Card Donation My Giving All credit card donations will reflect SVCF on your statement. For more information, please review the FAQs. 1. Select the Give tab then click on Credit Card Donation. 2. Enter the Organization Name and click on the Search icon. OR To Search by EIN # (U.S. only), enter the organization s EIN number (no dashes or spaces) and click Search. NOTE: If your organization is not listed, you can submit your organization via or live chat under Help in the topright corner of the site. 3. Click View Page at the right of the preferred charity.
44 How To: Make a Credit Card Donation U.S. employees can donate through the platform to their preferred charity using a credit card. 1. Click Donate Now. (If your organization does not accept donations, please contact help@yourcause.com) 2. Enter Donation Amount. 3. Add an optional Designation. PLEASE NOTE: Our process ensures designations are passed to the organization; however, we cannot guarantee they will use your gift accordingly. Please contact the organization directly to make sure they are able to accommodate your request. 4. Select your credit card type and then enter your Payment Details and Billing Address. 5. If you d like to make your donation anonymous, check the box under Donation Options. 6. Read the terms and conditions for your gift. Once you have read all the requirements, check I have read and agree to these terms and conditions. 7. Click Next, review the information, then click Submit. Payment Details

46 How To: Request a Matching Gift If you've made a personal charitable donation to a nonprofit outside of this site, you can record the donation and request a matching gift. Donations must be a minimum $1 to request a match. For fundraising events, please go to the Request a Match for Activity-Based Fundraising Event section. 49 How To: Request a Matching Gift Eligible Gift If you have recorded a donation that meets the following criteria, you will be eligible for a match and see a pop-up after you click Save (from prior screen) - Must be a minimum of $1 - The organization must be listed on the site and eligible as described in the matching guidelines 1. Enter the amount that you would like matched. Or, if you don t want a match, select the radio button Do not match this donation. 2. Click Submit.

Select the organization from your Favorites. OR Search by charity name or EIN (U.S. only). (advanced search is available) 3. Click Choose File to upload a copy of your fundraising page. 4. Click Save.

54 Impact Area Features: Processed Donations YTD: Your recorded donations Charities Reached: How many nonprofits you ve impacted Processed Match YTD: Your matching history In Process Features donations in the processing cycle, but the full donation or match has not been processed Donation History Displays deductions in which the donation and match status are both complete
55 In Process Dashboard View where your donations are in the processing cycle. The majority of informational pop-ups can be found In Process. Once completed, the donations will move to the Donation History Dashboard. The Hold link doesn t have a pop-up at this time.
