11 Elena Cooke Education Fund ECEF was set up in honour of Miss Elena Maud Cooke, who was the principal of BBGS from 1958 to On 4 th August 2009, the BBGSOGA launched the Elena Cooke Education Fund at the mega reunion, BACK2BBGS held at the Bintang Circle, Pavilion KL. This fund is to help needy students / Malaysians to pursue further education after Form 5 at local colleges or universities. The first three scholarships were given out in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
