This work now forms the foundation for future Staff Rides, which will be a fundamental learning tool for the strategic planning of Defence Nursing Services in the future (March, 2017) The Nursing Memorial Appeal: a project to place a memorial to the nurses who died in the two World Wars at the National Arboretum in Staffordshire. The project is accompanied by an education fund to provide studentships in humanitarian nursing (2016-ongoing) 5
