1 QUESTIONS RELATED ADMISSION Admission Aspect What are the eligibility criteria for admission into GNM,B.SC Nursing,PBBSC & Msc Nursing Course? Ans: GNM: 10+2 with 40% marks in unreserved category and 35% for SC & ST candidate. B.Sc. Nursing: Have passed 10+2 examination in Science (physics, chemistry & Biology) with 45% marks & for SC/ST candidate 40% marks and pass in English. P.B.B.Sc. Nursing: The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of General Nursing & Midwifery examination and candidate must be Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of ONMC or equivalent to any other state nursing council. M.Sc. Nursing: The minimum educational requirements shall be B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% aggregate marks from the institution recognized by the INC. The candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife of ONMC or equivalent of any other state nursing council. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing or one year experience prior or after post Basic B.sc. nursing. How to apply for admission into any programme? Can a student register his/her name in any other state after passing in your institution? Ans- Yes, They can register in 3 states as per the norms of INC. Is your college giving placement to the students? Ans: Almost all students are getting placements in different Superspeciality, Multinationality hospitals. Accommodation Aspect When your institution was established? Ans How many students are accommodated in room/hostel? Ans- 4 Students with separate cupboards and study table & chair. What do you do when a student become sick in hostel? Ans-We have 24 x7 hour medical facilities. Is there any provision of 24hr light and water supply in your college and hostel campus?, Provision of genset during electric failure. Is there open wi-fi system in your campus? Is there cleanliness in your hostel campus? Is there proper locking system in your bathrooms and toilets?

3 How many times you provide food to students? Ans-3 times breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Do you provide enough food to fulfill the nutrition requirement of students? Is there any provision for parents to stay in the hostel premises? Ans-No we don t have such facility to accommodate parents in the hostel. However, lodge and hotels are available in the vicinity. Academic Aspect What is the medium of instruction in class room teaching? Ans - English Does your college providing malpractice to students during Exam? or is it your responsibility to give high percentage of marks to students to pass? Ans- Before exam the students have to work out previous 5 years University question papers thoroughly and each subject teacher is given their efforts for better results of every student. Some students want distance course. (Pay course fees but not attending the class.). Is it possible in your college? Ans- No. According to INC all the 4 programmes are regular. How many holidays the student is to avail in a year? Ans-Summer vacation-40days, winter vacation-10 days, Puja vacation-10 days What are the processes you follow for learning of topics? Ans-Lecturer cum discussion, Demonstration, Bed side teaching in clinical areas, Seminar, Works shop. How your college is different than other college? Clinical Practice For clinical duty in your own hospital or any other hospital? Ans: 80% Theory classes and 100% clinical are compulsory for all students to appear examination. To which university your college is affiliated? Is there any time anybody can enter to your hostel campus? Ans: Nobody can able to enter the college campus without security check. How can a non Odia student join in Odisha Govt. hospital after passing from your institution? Ans: By 15% Management quota any non odia candidate can take admission in our college but they have to submit a Odia pass certificate of 7 th standard by Odisha Board.
