Responsible for the total care of the patient which includes administration of medicines, carrying out doctor s orders promptly and effectively, assisting doctors in procedures and treatments. Assess, plans, implements, evaluates the goals of care and documents all the care rendered. Reports to the ICU Registrar for any significant changes in the health status of the patient. Liaise with the other team members in planning the care of the day. Able to perform basic cardio-pulmonary resuscitation Uses the material resources to meet the patient s needs.
