Vrable and capt. Yavoroskiabout this information that I received, and myself along with sgt.vrable,sgt. walsh,capt.yavoroski and several other guards removed inmate simonson from his cell and searched his cell from top to bottom, all appeared to be good,simonson was then placed back into his cell with no problems end of report. Safety issues- Sporks, knifes, pencils and pens sold in canteen. They are weapons and i/m's are using them.. A -unaware... looking at it. 2. Coming out of delta no cuffs or shackles with different classifications with not enough staff as policy states! pritchyka- don't need shackles we make policy. Me A-should him policy that we must have all escorted with 2 staff and shackles when leaving delta.. 3. Assaultive i/m's housing together with a/c,p/c,dlc,sych with no safety concerns for staff, other inmates..gave examples.. Coming from prisons with alerts... no one aware of threat/assaults on staff before...a- none Pritchyk said we need to move on.. this is not the time for this... Me A-it's a labor/safety/management meeting are you lddding me...still no answer Camera in central not working. Asked management to walk around (Y with me and will prove this prisons safety breaches or come to these units and see for yourselves with what im telling you and you'll see im being genuine...m a safety nul.please look at them. 5. Metal detectors needed at reception, booking, maintenance, laundry, offices if you're going to bring non-staff with tools through them. No accountability. Five most important exit/entry's are breached everyday.. can prove it. will get gun in through fours and release someone with papers mailed to me from i/m in here. will have him sitting out front for you to see Handbook changes...did you agree...langan A- we got busy with all going on... computer changes... we will try to meet this week to change them Annual/sustainment training.. Too much changing and diverse population growth..need to have knowledge of new types and training for all stajj..have no training at all...pritchyka- we have had weapons, cpr, and cell extraction training..me-extration training was only with white shirts and not all of staff... J
5 8. No accountability for inmates. Just too much going on...need someone to analyze and inspect massive movement and staffing. Have independent group give feed bac-k...donate A- not happening.. 9. Post vacancies McCarthy, leach etc.. Too many vacancies go un filled for to long creating stress and over-time to officers... Warden A- we will soon.. 10.Hair-cuts because of court?
