6 School of Nursing Highlights The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree was established in The School of Nursing has more than 3,000 students enrolled from across the United States. All programs offered by the School of Nursing have open and rolling admissions. Online nursing courses are offered in 12 week terms on a quarterly basis. Three graduate courses (9 credits) are included in the BSN degree.
7 The Center for Learning and Technology Collaborative course design model: Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, and Instructional Technologists 563 courses that are offered 12 semesters a year; an average of course developments per year Our Team: 6 Instructional Designers, 5 Instructional Services, and 3 Assessment Specialists Flexible course delivery model: multiple platforms (Tablets, smartphones, etc.) Responsible for the academic technology systems: LMS (Moodle), QuestionMark Perception, Google Apps, and Kaltura
8 Purpose of the e Portfolio All BSN students are required to create an electronic portfolio that is submitted in the final nursing course. The purpose of this portfolio is to showcase the work that you have completed during your educational program. The e Portfolio supports your professional development, documents your clinical competence, and maps course assignments to your program outcomes. The content of your e Portfolio or artifacts are your papers, presentations, and other documents that provide evidence of your progress through the program.
