6 Nurse Media Journal of Nursing, 6(1), 2016, v PREFACE Nurse Media Journal of Nursing (NMJN) is an international journal published by Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University. The journal has been indexed in Google Scholar, Portal Garuda/Indonesian Publication Index (IPI), Indonesian Scientific Journal Database (ISJD) and Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ). In this year 2016, NJMN has made some changes in its performance to improve the quality of the journal. Firstly, it is such an honor that NMJN has invited and collaborated with editors and reviewers from Indonesia, Europe and Australia to review the articles sent to this journal. Secondly, NMJN has made some necessary changes on the format of the article, as well as the author guidelines. This issue (NJMN, Vol 6 (1), 2016) has published 5 articles consisting of 1 research article, 2 literature reviews and 2 reports of case studies, which have contribution to nursing practice. This issue was authored and co-authored by 10 authors from 3 countries (Indonesia, Taiwan and Australia). All papers have been doubled-blindly reviewed by the editors and reviewers of this journal. Firstly, a case study about children with autism was written by Mardiyanti (2016). This article described the condition and the changes of having autism as well as the coping strategies for young chidren with autism as illustrated in Jack s case study. Secondly, a literature review related to the assessment of delirium in elderly was presented by Saifullah and Chen (2016). The assessment was needed to prevent the risk of getting deterioration and worsening condition in the elderly. This article described 4 assessments of delirium in elderly that are usually used in the previous studies. Thirdly, a review was described by Rahayu et al (2016) exploring the coaching in nursing to improve the quality of discharge planning. The review showed that coaching is a competence which must be possessed by nursing managers in hospitals. Unfortunately, majority of managers were still lacking in their ability to conduct coaching to nurses. This study recommends coaching trainings for nurses to enhance the competence in their coaching ability. The fourth article by Theresia (2016) described a clinical case study about a patient with Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP). This case study explored the development of VAP in the patient which happened in the ICU setting. The findings gave several recommendations for ICU nurses such as considering the increase of WBC count increasing temperature, performing an oral hygiene every 2 hours using chlorhexidine 0.12%, considering the use of orogastric tube and ETT with sub glottic port to patients who use mechanical ventilator, maintaining endotracheal tube cuff of at least 20 cm H2 to prevent aspiration and collaborating with other health professional. The last article in this issue was written by Rochana et al (2016), which discussed a triage process in the emergency departments (EDs) in Indonesia. The study was a descriptive qualitative study involving interviews with 12 policy makers. The results described 4 steps of triage process ranging from receiving to prioritizing, which are almost similar to the international literature except for a re-triage step.

7 Nurse Media Journal of Nursing, 6(1), 2016, vi NJMN would like to thank the respectful authors, reviewers and editors in this journal. The editor would like to invite papers from researchers, academicians, and nurses to contribute their work to this journal. Suhartini Editor-in Chief
