Overview ICPM RESEARCH POSTER PRESENTATION PROGRAM is a scientific, educational and professional event committed to promote the highest professional and ethical standards for the growth, development and progress in the field of pharmaceutical and medical science. ICPM RESEARCH POSTER PRESENTATION PROGRAM aims to communicate and present high quality original research work, reviews, short communications, case reports, Ethics Forum and Education Forum. The objectives and scope of the ICPM POSTER PRESENTATION PROGRAM: Cultivation and promotion of the study and practice of pharmaceutical and medical sciences. To promote social contacts among healthcare professionals of the country/ region. To undertake and promote scientific and pharmaceutical research activities related to pharmaceutical and medical science. 2. Who can participate? Medicine, Pharmacy and Biotech Graduates researchers University students (medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health, biomedical engineering). Retail Pharmacy owners and their sales team. Registered Physicians, Pharmacists and Nurses (including lab technicians, radiologists, midwifes). Scientific office representatives. Development Professionals. Healthcare facility managers. Healthcare Providers. Professors from Pharmaceutical/ Biotech institutes, Academicians and Educationists & Biomedical engineers. Employees Health Insurance Companies. 3. REGISTRATION & ABSTRACT SUBMITION: Register yourself as a Presenter for the conference of ICPM 2018 on/or before 12 th November To confirm your participation: visit the following website: After you sign up in the website, click on registration and provide the necessary details, when prompted click on the new conference registration, choose Presenter and use the complimentary code issued to you via . Please indicate the POSTER CODE when paying the fee. Abstract submission details (Submission ID, Main Author, of Main Author, Co- Authors, Supervisor, Institution, Title and Abstract) Participation in this poster competition will give you the privilege to attend all lectures and get the CME certificate at the end of the conference. 3

4 4. PAYMENT: Your submission is accomplished ONLY when you register for the event and Pay the Poster Fee (400 AED), payment receipt to be submitted with the application. Please indicate the POSTER CODE when you are paying the fee. Ensure you register and pay at the earliest in order to be considered for the Poster presentation competition. 5. REVIEW: On submission, the ICPM scientific committee will review all submitted abstracts initially for suitability for formal review. Abstracts with insufficient originality, serious scientific or technical flaws, or lack of a significant message, or if the abstracts were not prepared as per ICPM POSTER PRESENTATION instructions are rejected. POSTER GUIDELINES: Title of the poster must be displayed clearly at the top of the poster and should include the names of the author(s) and the institution(s) of origin Information should be summarized, using brief written statements, graphic materials such as photographs, charts, graphs, and diagrams mounted on standard size poster of 100 cm x 90 cm Double face tape and mounting materials will be supplied at the conference site Authors must print and prepare all posters beforehand in a form enabling easy mounting Poster orientation must be portrait. Please use clear labels for each section of the poster. Text should be of sufficient size for easy reading at a distance of 1.5 meter (Between font sizes). 7. DISPLAY AND PRESENTATION: Author(s) is (are) responsible for mounting and taking down their poster during the conference. Poster presenters should be available to discuss their posters with the conference participants during the coffee breaks. 8. ABSTRACTS WITH MORE THAN ONE AUTHOR: All authors must register to attend and receive the poster presentation certificate Names of all the Authors must be sent along with a clear photo shot of the poster before 10 th November 2018 to 9. Other: All posters displayed are automatically entered for the Poster Competition. Posters should NOT be removed before 1:00 pm on Day 4 of the conference. The results of the Poster Competition will ONLY be ANNOUNCED during the Closing Ceremony on Day 4. Prior information of results will NOT be provided if the presenter is unable to attend the Closing Ceremony on Day 4. Only ONE certificate will be awarded to the main author who is attending the event. No additional certificates will be awarded to co-authors. Certificates can only be collected on Day 4 of the event. Certificates will not be posted or available before Day 4 of the Event. All poster presentations accepted to present at the conference must register. NO accommodation is offered to attending oral presenters. In case you will not be able to attend the Conference please inform us in writing before November 2 nd 2018 to withdraw your participation to enable participation of other interested candidates. 5

POSTER JUDGEMENT The posters will be judged based on: CRITERIA Abstract (Clarity, Comprehensiveness, Conciseness) POINTS 10 Organization (Clarity of introduction, Objectives, Methods) 10 Quality of visuals 10 Quality and poise of presentation, ability to answer questions, knowledge of subject. 15 Adequacy of experimental design 10 Extent objectives were met 5 Difficulty/Depth of Research 10 Validity of conclusions based upon data 10 Technical merit, Contribution to Science. 10 Judge`s Discretion 10 TOTAL POSTER COMPETIION AWARD: There will be valuable Awards announced for the following poster presentation competition in the following Categories (competition categories are): Award for Pharmacy and Medicine Award for Nursing Award for Quality improvement in Pharmaceutical industries Awards for Students All the Best ICPM 2018 ORGANIZERS 6
