6 R&D Fund The R&D Fund is the main financial instrument supporting international R&D collaboration Supports competitive R&D of companies (SME s to big companies). Projects criteria: development of new product significant improvement to an existing product lead to a new industrial process or to a significant improvement in an existing industrial process Support Beta Site stage OCS participates in 20% - 50% of R&D expenses Royalty payments out of the total annual revenues: 3 % of revenues acquired during the first three years 3.5 % from the third year onward 6
