2 Mission Patient Care- lead the EVMS and Sentara efforts in applying rigorous, high-quality analytic science to the evaluation of real-world innovations aimed at improving the quality, safety and value of healthcare. Research- Design, implement and evaluate clinical, patient-centered outcome effectiveness research projects, delivery system evaluation and health economic analysis. Education- Train the next generation of healthcare providers in the field of healthcare analytics and delivery science. Community Service- reduce and eliminate health disparities in Hampton Roads through community partnerships and collaborative efforts.

3 Vision Together we strive to create an evidence-based foundation for improved patient outcomes by fostering the efficient use of healthcare analytic skills and bioinformatics to establish collaborations and further development of integrated healthcare Institute that will be competitive for major extramural grants.

4 What Makes HADSI Unique? Currently over 20 different academic institutes and centers in the nation are focused on healthcare delivery and/or healthcare analytics Majority focused on policy and management HADSI is an unique academic and healthcare partnership HADSI is research intensive with expertise in healthcare analytics (including economic analysis) using predictive modeling applications on patients electronic medical records(emr) as an impetus for disease management-focused research studies. Goal: to increase NIH funding through building and strengthening infrastructure and partnerships

8 HADSI Service Request Process HADSI Website HADSI Service Request Visit the HADSI website: ivery_science_institute/hadsi_services/ Read Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) webpage Click on link to online Service Request (SR) Form Complete SR Form in its entirety (include relevant attachments) Provide electronic signature and submit Researcher will receive SR ID information upon SR Form completion HADSI team member will respond within 2 business days General Consultation HADSI team member will schedule a general consultation meeting or phone call Researcher will explain project goals to HADSI team member during consultation Project Completion HADSI team member will perform requested service(s) Requested information and/or analyses will be ed to researcher Additional questions can be answered via or by scheduling a phone call or meeting

HADSI can also help in: Re-organizing Big Databases to identify targeted data sets Developing a novel data analysis and modeling pipeline Interpreting a batch size of results Disseminating a huge number of findings from Big Data
