2 The Association - Brazil (UNAB/ANUBRA) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established in Its main objective is to narrow the bonds of collaboration between Brazilians and the (UN). Affiliated with the World Federation of Associations (WFUNA) - United Nation's civil arm, ANUBRA strives for sustainability through projects and programs in national and international scales. ANUBRA works to engage the Brazilian population into the work and principles of the as well as creating awareness to recent international affairs.

3 Fórum das Américas is an independent institution, founded in 1978, dedicated to the discussion of the main issues in the Americas pertaining to human rights, democracy, environmental challenges and free trade. Fórum das Américas organized a wide range of seminars, international conferences and books signings. It helped in the organization of The and Society in the Threshold of a New Millennium event, in 1998, where UN former Secretary-General Kofi Annan was the main speaker and gathered the most important leaders of the Brazilian society. U.N.A.-Brazil was established in this same occasion. Fórum das Américas took initiatives in the formation of the Working Groups on the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA).

4 I.R.E.O. is an initiative of the Brazilian Foundation of America (BFA) and it aims to: Work and deliverer as one to overcome environmental and humanitarian challenges. Focus on strengthen partnerships between communities, governments, NGOs, civil society and the private sector to establish a global alliance toward renewable energy. To establish and support pilot projects in different industry sectors in developing countries. To share resources and best practices aiming to reach sustainable development in low income communities.

5 The Brazilian Foundation of America (BFA) is an American Not-For-Profit Organization under the IRS Federal law of 501(C)(3) and has an office in Fortaleza, Brazil. BFA works in educational projects to empower the least developed communities to actively be involved in social activities. The BFA programs and projects follow the The Eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of the. BFA is affiliated with the UN Economic and Social Council - ECOSOC. In partnership with I.R.E.O and ANUBRA, BFA strives to generate financial support for sustainable development projects worldwide. BFA s goal is to implement pilot projects within local communities, amplifying the positive results and experiences, expanding efforts and sharing lessons at the national level - an insideout approach.
