Osiris does so by assisting the members of the community to produce and market fresh and healthy dragon fruit ice cream, keeping in line with the rising trend of healthy living. Project Ubuntu Members: Lau Ee Min, 20 (Malaysian) and Peh Gao Xian, 20 (Singaporean) Field of social enterprise: Arts, Disability Project Ubuntu seeks to find employment for disadvantaged artists by linking them to mentors and businesses. This includes artists with disabilities, in financial difficulty or with any other medical condition such as mental illness. It intends to do so by showcasing their artistic services and selling the products through its network of stores. STARTIC Member: Vania Santoso, 23 (Indonesian) Field of social enterprise: Arts, Women, Recycling STARTIC seeks to empower marginalised individuals to handcraft exclusive recycled products, such as transforming unused cement sacks into leather look-alike products. It provides ecopreneurship training on waste management, product innovation, and marketing, especially in the fashion industry.
