3 Section II: Object of the design contest/description of the project II.1) Description: II.1.1) Title attributed to the design contest/project by the contracting authority/entity: Cloudburst and Culture - Renewal of Hans Tavsens Park and Korsgade in Nørrebro II.1.2) Short description: The Integrated Urban Renewal at Nørrebro (Områdefornyelsen Nørrebro) invites applicants as part of the Nordic Built Cities Challenge. The Challenge of the Danish competition is to: - Develop smart climate adaptation solutions for the dense city - Ensure cultural and climate synergy by developing multifunctional facilities for a liveable urban space The competition site is located in the district of Nørrebro, and consists of three urban spaces: 1) Hans Tavsens Park 2) Blågård School area 3) Korsgade The competition site is about square meters and the distance from the one end to the other is approximately 1 km. The area inhabits citizens in a radius of 800 meters. It is expected that the City of Copenhagen will hire the national winning team on a contract concerning at least one of the three urban spaces of the site. The expected construction cost of the whole project is millions DKK. Multidiciplinary teams are invited to apply. 4 Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information III.1) Criteria for the selection of participants: (if applicable) Legal, economic and financial information: A) Personal identification, including name, address, social security number and contact details. B) Official certificate or declaration on honour, stating that the applicant is not in any of the situations outlined in Directive 2004/18/EC, article 45, paragraph 2 (a), (b) and (c). The issue date of the certificate or declaration may not exceed three months, counting from the date of application. C) Declaration on honour according to consolidated act no. 336 of 13 May 1997 on restrictions on debtors eligibility to participate in public tender procedures, declaring that the undersigned does not have unpaid outstanding debts to public authorities in Denmark exceeding DKK. As part of the benefits, the following will also be offered to the finalists: A) Widespread promotion and communication in the Nordic countries. B) Opportunity to take part in innovation workshops, meeting with the project owner and experts and getting input to the development of the solutions. C) Opportunity to take part in the Nordic Finale. The Nordic Built Cities Challenge Jury has a total of 1,3 million NOK in prizes. Prizes are funded by Nordic Innovation and will be awarded at the discretion of the Nordic Jury. It is expected that the City of Copenhagen will hire the national winning team on a contract concerning at least one of the three urban spaces of the site. The expected construction cost of the whole project is million DKK. If it is not possible for the winning team to commence work on their winning project before two years have passed, the team will receive NOK as compensation.
