2 Dutch Design Week During the 16th edition of Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven you can see with your own eyes how tomorrow s world is already taking shape. From 21 until 29 October 2017 the doors to the future will open in a city that will be buzzing with innovation and creativity for nine whole days. Smart solutions and inventive designs offer new promising perspectives. Sign up Dutch Design Week invites everyone who designs at a professional level. Join in: register for the programme and present your work among a unprecedented number of designers, labels and collectives. 4 Expand your network During DDW you make contacts. With colleagues, representatives from commerce, education and the cultural sector, and possibly collaborative partners and people that inspire you. Good business DDW is about doing business too. Commerce and industry are well represented, your target group too. In addition, DDW maintains good contact with international design events, knowledge institutes and grant providers. 5 Het Veem With more than 25,000 visitors Het Veem was an important DDW location last year. Again, this year, Het Veem in Strijp-S offers space for young talent and people with innovative ideas. It is also the perfect place for curated exhibitions like the retrospective exhibition for the Dutch Design Awards finalists. This location also offers international educational institutes the possibility of presenting themselves. Het Veem can only be entered with a DDW ticket. 6 Exhibiting Looking for a big exhibition space in the heart of DDW? Exhibiting from 36 square metre 75 excl. VAT. and participation costs. Register before 30 June 2016 through the website: Space prices m2: 75 per square metre m2: 60 per square metre m2: 40 per square metre. Space prices are excluding the cost of participation (see last page) in Dutch Design Week and 21% VAT. Please note: maximum height of the exhibition spaces is 2.47 m. Need more exhibition space? Please contact the project manager Antoinette Klawer (antoinette@ dutchdesignfoundation.com). The exhibition will be held on the 1st floor, which is in use as a carpark outside DDW. There is no central heating. The DDW organisation will take measures to keep the climate as comfortable as possible. Looking at the circumstances, but of course depending on the weather, low temperatures should be taken into account. Just Things Foundation 6

7 Facilities We supply a single floor-located power distribution point for each exhibition. Use of energy-efficient lighting (LED) and equipment is mandatory, as well as fire-safe materials. A sprinkler system is operational. Electricity In connection with the building s limited power facilities, an extra group (3600W, 230V, 16A) is possible in consultation. The related costs are 350 excl. VAT. Threephase power is available upon request and at extra cost. Internet/ water A internet or water connection is available upon request and at extra cost. Waste Participants will each be responsible for their own waste disposal. Should you wish to dispose of large quantities of waste, quotes can be requested for this. 8 Conditions Veemgebouw Opening hours during DDW Daily from 11:00-18:00 hours. Construction and disassembly Construction can take place from Monday 16 until Thursday 19 October, 09:00-20:00 hours. On Friday 20 October the building will be closed in connection with the judging of the Dutch Design Awards. Disassembly can take place on Monday 30 October (deviation from these times in consultation with the organisation). Contact More information?
