Managed by Sheri Grabowski, Mannheim Musicians sub-contracts these musicians for various events such as weddings, receptions and local performances. Originally, the group was a trio that was formed in 1983 during Grabowski s college years at Columbus College (now Columbus State University) and in 1989 became Mannheim Trio when the three original performers were asked to record for a radio broadcast for ABAC s campus radio station. Since then, the group of musicians has expanded not only its repertoire but also its members who are able to give the community a wider variety of music. Mannheim Musicians performers include Grabowski, flute; Lesli Holton, flute; Betsy Jones, violoncello and Greg Millette, keyboard. All are from Tifton. The group also includes Linda Williamson from Albany, violin; Jonni Snyder from Fitzgerald, violin; Tracy Jones from Albany, violin; Vicki McKinney from Albany, viola; and Bob Hubbard from Valdosta, double bass.
