2 In our 4 th annual Community Impact Report we highlight the community aspects, economic impact and overall contribution the Joliet Slammers have made as tenants of the Joliet Baseball Stadium in The Slammers continue to provide affordable family fun and entertainment not just to Joliet, but to all of Will County and the surrounding communities. The Slammers take great pride in being an asset to the community and you will see in this report how we have proven to have a positive impact on the City of Joliet. We will highlight just how synonymous the Slammers have become with the culture of Joliet & Will County through: Events hosted Returning events and new events at the ballpark Participation in community events outside the ballpark Relationships built with local organizations Local organizations the Slammers are involved with Groups we work with in planning summer events Corporate business partners The economic contributions to Joliet/Will County Wages paid to employees Payments to government Purchase of outside goods and service Donations Fundraising groups

3 The Slammers stadium has become a multi-use venue with a full calendar of events each year. From baseball at all levels, to concerts, 5K walks/ runs, beer festivals, family movie nights and more there is always something going on that appeals to all demographics. In 2016, we hosted the following events: 48 Slammers home games University of Saint Francis Fighting Saints games Three youth baseball skills camps Illinois High School State baseball finals Class 3A/4A (recently won bid to host through 2021) Slammers 15U baseball tournament Easter candy run Family movie nights Hopstring Fest-Craft beer and music fest Halloween trick-or-treating at the stadium Family Fun Fest Chicago Bandits vs Slammers softball game Guns N Hoses charity softball game Multi chamber networking events Andre Dawson night at the Slammers NEW Hyundai Car Care event in conjunction with JJC, D Arcy, and Hyundai Motors Aurora NEW Miracle League games Annual College Fair SWILA All Star & Championship Games Will County Watch Party for Cubs playoff run Holiday Party and open house to fans Home Depot Softball Game Mount Zion Baptist Church Service NEW Red Carpet Corridor Open House NEW Stand up for Blue Night NEW Great American Railroad Journeys (a BBC travel documentary series featured the Slammers)- NEW Hosted a premier for the new Fox series Pitch NEW

The organization is committed to providing a positive influence through community efforts and charitable work on and off the field. Community Initiatives Include: Spikes Super Students Reading program: education incentive program in 150+ area schools, libraries, daycares etc Slammers Kids Club: 1,000+ members receive Slammers perks for joining Fundraising with the Slammers: The Slammers helped raise X in 2016 working with area non profits Chamber involvement: The Slammers are active in 10+ area chambers through parades, expos, & networking events Community nights: Help raise funds for organizations in your community, and recognize individuals and business 1
