2 GRAD FEES Grad fees are due now and can be paid at the SCVI Office. The $30.00 fee covers the rental of the grad gowns, and the purchase of the hat and tassel. The only measurement required for the grad gown rental is height in feet and inches with shoes on.

3 GRAD PICTURES Grad gowns can be signed out after the Grad Rehearsal; book a studio session or take your own photos. Group photo (with gowns on) at 6:10 pm on Cafetorium Stage. Photo arch for before or after the Convocation Ceremony. This will be located outside of the main office.

4 GRAD COMMITTEE The Grad Committee continues to meet weekly. Please see Mr. Magnusson for further information. Valedictorian and Rotary Citizen Award voting will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at lunch.

5 INVITATIONS & TICKETS MAY 2016 Invitations will be mailed home in May. Each student will receive up to 4 tickets for the Convocation Ceremony. If more tickets are required, please let the office know and additional tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis, as available. Tickets can be picked up from the main office by May 20, Extra tickets can be picked up starting May 24. If special seating is required, please let the office know when you pick up tickets.

6 GRAD REHEARSAL JUNE 9, 2016 The rehearsal will be held on the morning of Thursday June 9, 2016 in the SCVI Gymnasium (Time: 11:15am). Grad gowns can be signed out after the rehearsal.

7 What to wear and bring to Commencement? Grad gown, cap with tassel, v-stole. Wear cool and comfortable clothing under the grad gown. Suit jackets can be worn, but not recommended under the grad gown. Only your feet are visible. Wear appropriate footwear. Leave all belongings with family members, at home, or in locker. No cell phones please. Please don t chew gum.

8 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY JUNE 10, 2016 The ceremony will be held in the SCVI Gymnasium on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 7:00pm. 6:00 Arrive at Superior. 6:10 Graduating students will be asked to gather on the SCVI Cafetorium Stage for a Graduating Class Photograph. 6:15 Gymnasium will open for family and friends to be seated. 6:20 Students are to proceed to the English Hallway for lining up. (*Please leave all belongings with family members, in your locker or at home.)

9 COMMENCEMENT CONTINUED 7:00 Processional and Ceremony begins Grad Gowns and V-Stoles must be returned at the end of the Commencement Ceremony to Room Students can keep the grad cap and tassel. After the Ceremony, there will be a reception in the Cafetorium.

10 PROM DINNER & DANCE JUNE 23, 2016 The dinner/dance will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Nor Wester Resort Hotel. Tickets will go on sale in June. Ticket price to be determined.

13 OFFICIAL DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES Official diplomas and certificates will be mailed with report cards in July. These will be issued under the student s legal name. Please notify the office if the student s name is printed incorrectly in the grad program. Please notify the office if there is a change of address. Boarding students should make sure the office has your summer address.
