THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO ALL HOURLY TEAM MEMBERS (EXCLUDING THE M14 & M15 POPULATION) WHO WORK IN A LOCATION WITH STATUTORY SICK PAY LAWS: Use f Sick Pay Generally, yu may use sick pay fr hurs lst due t nn-wrk-related illness r injury. Time Off Service Date and Anniversary Year Sick pay is based n yur Time Off Service Date, which is yur riginal hire r anniversary date, r last rehire date fllwing a break in service in accrdance with the state/city specific timeframes listed in the chart belw see yur lcatin s applicable rehire rule. (Applies t sick time nly; all ther accruals fllw the 90 day rehire rule). If yu were hired n r after February 1, 1990, yur Anniversary Year begins n the anniversary f yur Time Off Service Date each year. If yu were hired befre February 1, 1990, yur Anniversary Year is frm February 1st t January 31st. Maximum Sick Accrual Yu may accumulate up t 240 hurs f sick pay. A public health emergency is defined as a state f emergency declared by a public fficial f any level f gvernment with authrity t make such a declaratin. Chicag (IL) Sick hurs begin t accrue as f date f hire. Nn-exempt, hurly team members accrue 1 sick hur fr every 40 hurs wrked. All team members accrue a maximum f 40 sick hurs per year; n further sick hurs are accrued until the Time Off Service Date r new Anniversary Year, as defined abve. At each Time Off Service Date r new Anniversary Year as defined abve, team members can carry ver up t 60 hurs f accrued but unused sick Updated Octber 1, 2017

Fr any use f sick hurs that is als cvered by the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the FMLA s requirements fr ntice will apply, rather than the plicy abve.
