WELCOME TO IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY! WELCOME! The purpose of orientation is to acclimate you to campus and Ames while simultaneously learning how to be successful at Iowa State. We will cover as much information as possible, and please, do not hesitate to ask questions. A note about punctuality: Please arrive on time to each event and plan to stay until the end. ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST (EPT) GO TOhttps://apling.engl.iastate.edu/english-placement-test/ English Placement Test for Non-Native Speakers of English (EPT) is required for all incoming students whose first language is NOT English, and do not meet any of the other exemption categories.
