DES Community Information Suspicious Packages BLUF: Events over the last few weeks show it is plausible to carry out attacks using packages containing IEDs or chemicals against government or military targets. All personnel, and their Families need to exercise caution and be aware of the threat from suspicious packages. Because of these events, there is an increased need to raise awareness among the Army community on the handling of suspicious packages and precautionary steps to protect personnel and their Families.
