February is also Black History Month, where we remember the struggles of African-Americans to achieve equal rights under the law. I know that we are having a new discussion group, African- American Studies, on African History in honor of Black History Month, and am hoping for a chance to attend, myself. 6 Talk About It Super Bowl Party It s that time again! Join us on Sunday, February 7, at 6:30 p.m. for our Annual Super Bowl party. The party will be held in the Veterans Museum, and hosted by Alexander and Ed. Keyes. Be sure to head on down and catch a great game! Love Is Ageless Whether it is the eternal love between two souls that transcends all else, or the love of humanity that we all feel, please come join us in a celebration of love, friendship and humanity. Join us on Friday, February 12, in a celebration of the entire spectrum of love, at our annual Love Is Ageless dance! With a scrumptious meal prepared by our chef, to the tasteful music of our DJ Chris, come dance, eat, and celebrate love to its fullest. Let the heat of love burn away winter s freezing breath! Just a friendly reminder that American House provides restaurant-style meals in order to encourage our residents to socialize and enjoy their meals with friends. Carry-outs are offered for an additional charge by the Medical team. Please do not request a container from a member of the Culinary Department. If you choose to remove food from the Dining Room, you must provide your own clean container. If your container is dirty, the staff has the right to deny you service in order to protect your health if and when needed. As of February 1, this policy will be followed in full force. Did you know that you don t have to be a great singer to join; you just have to enjoy singing? If you are interested in joining the Choir, please sign up in the Activity Book located in the Main Lobbies of Buildings 1 and 2. The choir is the voice of American House. Sing a Song Singing out loud is a great way to relieve stress. It doesn t matter if your vocal skills are limited sing in the car, or wherever you are. Free Personal Errand Transportation Service W/ Renee Free transportation is available by appointment only on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Call (248) 880-9130. Calling at least three days in advance is advised. American House provides free transportation to any destination within a 10-mile radius of our property. The bus driver will call you back to confirm all requests for transportation. Unconfirmed requests may not be honored. Medical and business appointments will be scheduled first. No doctor appointments after 2 p.m. Please utilize scheduled shopping trips whenever possible. You may share a ride to the same destination with other residents. Riders will be given the van driver s phone number to call when ready to return. Van has a wheelchair lift.

Attend the Billionaires Club Annual Masquerade Ball and help get this soiree back on track by trading clues with your guests, gathering information, and solving the crime before the masked menace gets away!
