SOUTH REGION LT. MIGUEL SIERRA Date: WEDNESDAY 02/07/18 Dep. Cassady responded to a reported vehicle burglary. Kyray Richards, B/M, DOB 03-21-1985 was arrested for 2 active warrants for petit theft. Deputy Belanger responded and documented a residential burglary and grand theft. Deputies responded to State Road 600 and Lake of the Woods Blvd in reference to a traffic accident with a deceased driver. FHP responded and took control of the scene. EAST REGION LT. CHAD MCDANIEL Date: WEDNESDAY 02/07/18 Deputy McCullough placed an adult female into protective custody under the provisions of the Baker Act. Deputy McCullough documented an Economic Crime. Deputy Futch completed a Burglary / Theft. Deputy Henry documented multiple vehicle burglaries. NIGHT SHIFT 1800-0600 PILOT: Stan Pruitt FLIGHT OFFICER: Jeramiah Miller Alert 2 assisted Casselberry PD in reference to robbery. Alert 2 arrived on scene and canvassed the area but was met with negative results. Alert 2 responded to assist North Region in reference to a stolen motorcycle. Alert 2 arrived on scene an canvassed the main corridors from the advised location which resulted in negative results. Alert 2 responded in reference to a possible suicidal subject. Alert 2 canvassed the area. However, the subject returned home where she was subsequently taken into protective custody by units on scene. Alert 2 responded to assist East Region in reference to a suspicious person possibly looking into vehicles. Alert 2 canvassed the area however was met with negative results. Alert 2 responded to assist Oviedo PD on an alarm call with glass break. Alert 2 searched the immediate area and nearby buildings, however nothing was observed. Alert 2 responded to the area of Markham Woods RD & W Lake Mary Blvd in reference to a vehicle failing to yield to North Region units. On scene Alert 2 continued to maintain visual and called out direction of travel. The vehicle subsequently came to a rest in the area of Fox Valley Drive and Wekiva Springs Rd., where deputies took the driver into custody. Neighborhood Services Unit OFFICE OF THE SHERIFF CHIEF OF STAFF MARK CONWAY Public Information Section Kim Cannaday and Kail Hammond participated in the Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) training held at the SCSO Training Center. The training offers a glimpse into the lives of low-income individuals and families living in our community. The goal is to learn how to work more effectively with these families to understand and address the issues they face. PIOs posted to SCSO social media sites: Photos from the John E.
