Programme Overview Ramsay Sime Darby healthcare College in collaboration with University of Hertfordshire is now offering the BSc. (Hons) Contemporary Nursing 2+0 programme. The programme is a post-registration nursing programme for registered nurses who have successfully completed a Malaysian Qualifications agency (MQA) approved Diploma in Nursing, or equivalent and are currently in clinical practice. Our BSc. (Hons) Contemporary Nursing 2+0 programme is structured to help students achieve their maximum potential. In each semester students will attend approximately 30 weeks block study, where they will be taught theories relevant to nursing practices by the University of Hertfordshire lecturers. Upon completion of the teaching modules, students will return to clinical practice for the remainder of the semester. Students will have the opportunity to apply the theories taught through clinical decision-making and critical thinking in their course of work. They will be supported by a critical partner in the clinical practice area and will be monitored by the Programme Coordinator. Learning Outcomes At the end of the programme, the graduates will be able to : Evaluate critically the effectiveness of care delivery within the sphere of practice. Analyse major influences that impact the planning and delivery of care in contemporary practice. Conduct a critical reflection on personal and professional progress in roder to direct current and future learning. Competent in Information Technology based resources.
