REMEMBER THE DIFFERENT LEVELS FOR TRIPS: In order to clarify more about trips and the amount of walking and standing during a trip; below are the guidelines: Level 1: Riding and/or very little walking Level 2: Minimal walking Level 3: Excessive walking and/or stairs Level 4: Strenuous - long periods of standing and/or walking Lost & Found Basket - There is a lost and found basket outside of my office. Please take a moment to check to see if any of your belongings are in basket. Thank you! Suggestion Forms - Thank you to all who have filled out suggestion forms! All of your ideas are great and I appreciate the time you take in writing them down for me. My plan is to contact each of you in the near future and discuss your ideas. Senior Community Sale - Great news! We have been approved to have a Senior Community Sale here at the center in the summer. I do not have a date yet, but it will be on a Saturday. We will sell tables, and all of the proceeds will benefit the Senior Center! Everyone will be responsible for setting up their own table, pricing and selling their items, and then tearing down at the end of the day. And of course, any money made in the sale will belong to you! More information coming soon! Greeting Cards As you all know, we sell greeting cards in the lobby. The proceeds go directly to the center to offset the cost of classes, parties, etc. The cost of cards has steadily been increasing in the last few years. In order not to lose money, we need to make a few adjustments to our prices. They are still excellent prices and being able to purchase them here at the center is a great convenience. Thank you for your understanding! 1 card will remain only 75 cents 2 cards will only increase to $1.25 3 cards only $1.75 Team Wickliffe! We are forming a team of walkers here at the Wickliffe Senior Center to walk in the March For Meals! The event is being held at the Great Lakes Mall (food court) on Saturday, March 30 th from 8:30 10 am. The fee is $15 per walker.
