Parent Infrmatin Prgram Descriptin: Unin Academy After Schl (UAAS) is fr Kindergarten thrugh 8 th grade. It is designed t meet the needs f wrking parents and t prvide high quality after schl care in a safe and stimulating envirnment. Children remain n the schl s campus (with the exceptin f field trips) in a familiar envirnment t play, relax, and scialize with peers and adults. UAAS will prvide pprtunities fr children t explre new interests and build n skills thrugh games, sprts, crafts, and ther activities. Hurs f Operatin: The UAAS prgram will fllw the schl calendar. Hurs f peratin: Nrmal schl days: 3:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. Half days: 12:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. Scheduled hlidays/intersessins: Clsed Enrllment: Space is limited t 80 students and is ffered n a first cme, first served basis Days attended can be arranged by: 1. Full week (Mnday Friday) 2. Individual days (partial week) NOTE: A repeating schedule is required t be enrlled in a partial week. Example: Mnday, Wednesday, Friday n Week 1 and Tuesday, Thursday n Week 2. This sequence must alternate fr the entire calendar year. Daily Rates and Payment: Tuitin fees are deducted by autmatic bank draft n the 20 th f each mnth. (On mnths the 20 th falls n a Saturday r Sunday, drafts will take place n the fllwing business day.) Onging enrllment at UAAS is determined by keeping current with billing and autmatic drafts. Medical Prcedures General Infrmatin: Parents f students shall be made aware by this dcument that nursing care is nt available thrugh a trained staff nurse after 3 p.m. Hwever, basic First Aid/CPR is available. In the event f a medical emergency, parents will be immediately ntified. All necessary actins will be taken t ensure the safety f the child. Health insurance cverage is required fr all children wh participate in the UAAS prgram.
