Key Tasks Responsible for planning, organizing, executing, analyzing results, and preparing test reports for personnel, individual equipment, and aircraft certification tests Has primary responsibility for conducting the test from its conception through the final test report Develops the test plans, directs and manages the test execution, directs the data collection effort, and prepares test reports and associated documents 11

12 Aerial Delivery Rigging Branch Personnel How Do We Support ABNSOTD ADRB NCOIC ADRB OIC SR. Airdrop Tech. Plan, organize, prioritize, resource and synchronize all aspects of Aerial Delivery to include heavy drop rigging, and personnel parachute support for all Operational Tests. Aerial Delivery Light Pack Military Freefall Heavy Pack/ Maint. Warehouse Key Tasks Supports all airborne operational testing with required life support equipment, oxygen, breather consoles, navigational and emergency bailout equipment. Supports all airborne equipment operational testing. Responsible for the rigging of all Type V platforms and all Dual Row platforms. Responsible for the verification of rigging and Sling Load procedures for New and Non-standard equipment. Conduct Static Drops for New and Non-standard equipment. 12

Key Tasks Responsible for planning, organizing, executing, analyzing results, and preparing test reports for low-velocity airdrop, external air transport, and internal air transport Develops the test plans, directs and manages the test execution, directs the data collection effort, and prepares test reports and associated documents Coordinates with Tech Technology Branch and Aerial Rigging Branch for rigging and instrumentation support ISO testing. 14

15 Personnel and Special Operations Test Branch Personnel How Do We Support ABNSOTD MTPA PSOT Branch Chief Data Manager Data Collectors Test Division s Personnel and Special Operations Test (PSOT) Branch plans, executes, and reports on operational tests specific to Airborne and Special Operations Forces equipment. Types of tests include weapon systems, helmets, rucksacks, night vision and targeting devices, aircraft certification and personnel parachutes for both static line and military free fall. Key Tasks Responsible for planning, organizing, executing, analyzing results, and preparing test reports for personnel, individual equipment, and aircraft certification tests Has primary responsibility for conducting the test from its conception through the final test report Develops the test plans, directs and manages the test execution, directs the data collection effort, and prepares test reports and associated documents Coordinates with Tech Technology Branch and Aerial Rigging Branch for rigging and instrumentation support ISO testing. 15

17 Test Request Process Program of Record Test Any acquisition program supporting an acquisition milestone must be requested using the Request for Test Services (RFTS) form available on the ATEC Decision Support System (ADSS) homepage. Customer Test Generally are not in support of an acquisition milestone decision. There are three different electronic forms customized for various customer and support requirements.
