While completing its ongoing standards review, BC Hydro determined that certain requirements contained within reliability standards that are adopted in British Columbia (B.C.) were retired by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) when new IRO reliability standards (IR0-008 to IR0-01 0) were developed. The new standards and the corresponding retirements were approved by Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). 1 Specifically, Requirement of EOP-001 was retired in all versions of that reliability standard that referenced it when IR was approved in the United States (U.S.). Unfortunately, BC Hydro did not reflect this retirement of EOP-001-0, Requirement when IR was adopted in B.C. In Assessment Report No. 6, BC Hydro is recommending the of EOP b which would replace EOP in its entirety. Through this Errata No., BC Hydro requests that the BCUC adopt only Requirements 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of EOP b and not adopt Requirement to reflect the retirement of this requirement in the U.S. BC Hydro also notes that EOP b will be assessed as part of Assessment Report No. 7 and that Requirement of EOP b has been deleted. BC Hydro is providing a revised Attachment A and Attachment B to Appendix D (Draft Order) of the Addendum to reflect that EOP b, Requirement is not adopted in B. C.
