2 INTRODUCTION This guide is provided for you, the veteran, by veterans to assist you with many concerns that you may have. It is not a complete list of contacts and is subject to change without notice. A section for notes has been provided for you on the last page so that you may add or make any changes as necessary. For the many veterans that fought for our freedom, we thank you for your services to our country and to the families that have supported us. I personally want to thank my wife, Karyn, and the many people that assisted with this guide. Welcome to the City and County of Wilson. Sincerely, Cliff Harwood III Commander, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 8 Wilson, North Carolina Any nation that does not honor its heroes will not long endure. -Abe Lincoln This guide was provided by the following veterans groups of Wilson County: DAV Chapter #8, American Legion Post #13, and American Legion Post #17.
