Attached for our review and approval is the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Priorit List of Pending State and Tribal Government Cemeter Construction Grant Pre-applications. The Priorit List will serve as VA's basis for awarding grants during FY 2017, which begins on October 1, There are 101 total projects subject to 38CFRPART39. All applications are ranked according to the methodolog in 38CFRPART39 and must meet the requirements in that part to receive a grant. As of August 15, 2016, all pending pre-applications have been ranked in order to establish the priorit list for grant awards in FY The number of projects to which VA will commit will not be known until VA's annual budget is approved.. Please note that 11 projects on the attached list with matching funds are planned for obligations in These projects are annotated with an asterisk (*)and will be removed from the 2017 Priorit List when awards are made. If obligations are not incurred in 2016 as planned, the projects will carr over to 2017 and compete for funding according to the new priorit group rankings. 5.
