2 Scholarship Management Services Dedicated to Young Achievers The George Snow Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping deserving students within the community achieve their career goals through their pursuit of higher education. By providing financial assistance and a host of supplementary support services, we ensure that your scholarship recipients have the resources they need to thrive academically. Our philosophy is simple: By helping you help our young people achieve and prosper, our community grows stronger! Making it possible for deserving young men and women to continue their education is one of life s most rewarding experiences. It can and does change lives for the better. To do this properly requires real knowledge and expertise. With over 35 years of experience in the field of scholarship administration, the George Snow Scholarship Fund has refined the systems, policies, and procedures necessary to fully implement your existing or future scholarship program. At the same time, the George Snow Scholarship Fund realizes the importance of maintaining your charitable goals and objectives as well as maintaining the individual identity of your scholarship program. Since its inception, the Fund has awarded over 9.2 million dollars in educational grants to 1,711 local students. In the year 2017, the Scholarship Fund awarded $1,001, in commitments to 87 students. Experts in scholarship administration, the George Snow Scholarship Fund has developed a reputation for creating innovative programs that address the educational needs of those in our community.
3 Goals of the George Snow Scholarship Fund The goal of the George Snow Scholarship Fund is to help hard working and deserving individuals within our community achieve their educational and career goals, an objective that has the added benefit of bettering the community at large. It is our vision that no deserving student be denied a college education because of a shortage of funds. In assessing our progress toward this goal, we hold ourselves to the following standards: Short-term outcomes: 100% of scholars feel supported by the extended Scholarship Fund family to enter their freshman year 100% of scholars are able to avoid displacement of financial aid funds and maximize their financial aid award 95% of scholars complete the first year of college and enroll in the second year Long-term outcomes: 85% of scholars feel supported and motivated by the extended Scholarship Fund family 90% of scholars graduate from college 100% of scholars learn a sense of personal responsibility and are ready to enter the community as productive, hardworking, and caring citizens
