1 Company Profile My Home GP is a Government Accredited provider of after-hour s home visiting doctor services. We are a privately owned Australian company that has been proudly serving the needs of people across Melbourne and Sydney since We are passionate about ensuring people receive the highest quality healthcare during times when options are often limited and are proud of the essential role we play in supporting local GP s and helping to alleviate the increasing strain being placed on our Hospital Emergency Departments by dealing with urgent but non-critical health conditions outside of a hospital setting. Our purpose is bringing high quality and affordable after hours healthcare to patients in the safety and comfort of their place of residents. Caring: We always choose the kindest way Safety: We always choose the safest way Excellence: We always choose the best way Integrity: We always choose the right way Our team of caring and experienced doctors visit patients at their home or in aged care facilities from 6pm every weeknight, 12 noon Saturdays and all day Sundays and on Public Holidays. We provide a safe and caring work environment and continue to strive for excellence in patient care by upholding the highest clinical standards. Our doctors receive on-call clinical support from our Medical Director and access to ongoing Professional Development to ensure they continue to hone their skills in urgent care medicine.
2 We are rapidly expanding our service and are seeking Doctors who hold full registration with the Medical Board of Australia, are Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australian and have at least 2 years post graduate experience to join our experienced team. We offer; High Income Potential Ability to earn over $300k (full time) Access to sizable and growing patient demand Guaranteed hours and minimum call out rate after 11pm Flexibility & Security Choose to work the hours that suit your needs Choose to use your own car or we can provide a car and chaperone to drive you to and from patient visits Professional Development & Support Professional support from our experienced Medical Director Level 4 supervision for Doctors currently working in Australia Gain up to 2.5 years toward your eligibility to sit the RACGP Fellowship Exam CPD events & facilitated research opportunities Easy to use systems and full administrative support
3 Top 5 reasons why people regularly choose our service No cost to You. Our service is 100% bulk billed for Medicare, DVA and Concession cardholders. Simple Booking Process. You can request a doctor online or by calling from 4pm weekdays, 10am Saturdays and all day Sunday and Public Holidays. Caring & Experienced Doctors. We aim to have one of our AHPRA registered doctors visit you within 2 hours of the booking being confirmed. Free Basic Medications. Our Doctors are equipped to treat a range of common ailments and can dispense basic medication free of charge. Continuity of Care. Our service does not replace your daytime GP and we ensure notes are passed to them the next day and a follow up visit is scheduled where required.
4 Our Leadership Team Our leadership team each have over 20 years experience in managing healthcare and/or other service businesses and are passionate about ensuring people receive the highest quality after hours healthcare in the most privileged setting - their home. Brad J Matthews BBus Chairman and Director Brad has over 30 years experience in Financial Services and Property Development. He is the Group Managing Director of ResCom, a diversified Real Estate, Financial Services, Legal and Insurance business that he founded in Brad is also Chairman and one of the founding Directors of My Home GP. Brad holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also an Executive Member of the Williamson Community Leadership Group. Jason Gowie MBA Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer Jason s leadership experience spans over 20 years across Healthcare and Financial Services. Prior to joining My Home GP he was Managing Director Australia & New Zealand for one of the largest Hearing Healthcare providers and has held senior leadership roles with Medibank Private, Bupa Australia, GE Capital, RACV and Bank of New Zealand. Jason holds an MBA from Monash University and served on the Board of HCIA (Hearing Care Industry Association) from 2011 to 2013 and Whitelion Open Family, a not for profit supporting disadvantaged youth from 2009 to 2013.
5 Dr Umberto Boffa MBBS, MBA, GDOHSM, FAFOEM, FCHSM, MRACGP Medical Director Dr Boffa has been a vocationally registered GP for over 30 years and is a member of the RACGP. He has a particular interest in work related injuries and qualified in 2013 as a specialist occupational physician. Prior to this he spent 15 years in public hospital administration and 18 years in the Private Health Insurance sector. He holds academic appointments with Monash and Adelaide Universities and has published widely in international journals. Dr Boffa sits on committees of the Australasian College of Physicians and recently ended a 5-year term as a member of the professional services review panel for Medicare. Lisa Yeong BMS, CA, CPA Director & Chief Financial Officer Lisa has over 20 years experience in senior leadership roles in Australia and overseas. Prior to joining My Home GP Lisa held Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer positions with a number of private and listed public companies. Lisa has significant experience in restructuring and growing businesses and has played active roles as a board member & financial advisor. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Management with First Class Honours. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of CPA Australia.
