4 INTRODUCTION The Arab Hospitals Federation organized the Health Economic Forum on 7 July at Hilton beirut Habtoor Grand Hotel under the patronage of HE. General Michel Aoun President of the Lebanese Republic. The event welcomed 340 delegates, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parties involved in the event, particularly our supporters The Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon, the League of Arab States, the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean and our Guest of Honor HE. Dr. Ahmed Emad Eldin Rady the Minister of Health and Population in Egypt. Under the theme "HealthCare Priorities and Scarce Resources Allocation", the forum featured more than 20 local, international and regional respected speakers sharing expertise and experience with the attendees. The event gathered government officials from Lebanon and the Arab countries, Hospitals C level executives, Healthcare Professionals, Doctors and Healthcare organizations to share experiences and best practices through invited keynote, plenary lectures, Panel discussions and workshops covering a range of topics and important issues which affect us This post-show report summarizes the 2017 event while highlighting the various aspects from the delegates and the exhibitors perspectives.
