In order to register, please 204hosp-roso@mod.uk Severe Asthma National Network Study Day: 6 April 2017 The Severe Asthma National Network is hosting a study day on Thursday 6 April 2017 at The Stanneylands Hotel, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 4EY. The focus of the study day will include new treatments and strategies, phenotyping, adherence and monitoring, and vitamin D and asthma. The event is aimed at all health care professionals with a special interest in severe asthma in secondary care. Further information is available from Sadie Clayton via sadie.clayton@uhns.nhs.uk Paediatric Continence Workshop: 23rd May 2017 This workshop will take place on Tuesday 23rd May 2017 at the Belfast Waterfront Hall, 8 am to pm. This workshop is aimed at school nurses and staff working with young people, and will be discussing toilet training, autism, paediatric urology, and constipation in children. The cost to attend this workshop is 40, to register online RCN Foundation Spring 2017 bursary schemes The RCN Foundation is currently promoting two bursary schemes: Professional Bursary Scheme supports nurses in learning and development activities, such as postgraduate university study or professional short courses. Applications are welcome from those who wish to focus on primary care nursing and long-term or chronic conditions Monica Baly Bursary Scheme is awarded for personal development as a nursing historian and the promotion of scholarship in nursing history. The bursary is worth a minimum of 300 and a maximum of 1,000.
