3 Certificate IV in Emergency Medical Response Course Code: QLD The QLD Certificate IV in Emergency Medical Response program is designed for participants wishing to become Emergency Medical Technicians. This course equips participants with advanced medical skills and knowledge. This course is especially suited for first responders, mine rescue, fire fighters, road rescue, remote resort, dive and tour operations, shipʼs masters and security personnel. Occupational title for this role is Emergency Medical Technician. The QLD Certificate IV in Emergency Medical Response consists of 22 units of competency (19 compulsory and 3 elective units). Upon successful completion of the 22 units of competency participants will be eligible to apply for this nationally recognized qualification. 4 Certificate III in Non-emergency Client Transport Course Code: HLT30207 The HLT30207 Certificate III in Non-emergency Client Transport is designed for people who want to work in the non-emergency ambulance transport sector to provide transport for clients. Transport services of this kind are usually pre-arranged and time of response is not given a high priority in comparison to emergency transport. Clients are those requiring transport and / or care for non acute or chronic illness or disability. Occupational titles for this role may include: Ambulance Transport Officer Patient Transport Officer Patient Transport Attendant The HLT30207 Certificate III in Non-emergency Client Transport consists of 15 units of competency (ten compulsory units and five elective units). Elective units offered by FRA are listed below. Upon successful completion of the 15 units of competency, participants will be eligible to apply for this nationally recognised qualification. This qualification focuses on work in the ambulance done by volunteers or workers who provide a basic emergency response and transport roles in areas with a relatively low workload. 9 CONDITIONS OF BOOKING * Fees are payable before course commencement, with the exception of account customers. * Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a completed course registration form. * Any discounts must be stated at the time of booking. * Cancellations and transfer of bookings will be accepted if advice is received no later than ten working days prior to course commencement. A refund will then be issued by cheque less a 20% administration fee and costs for materials already provided. No refund is given for cancellations received after this date. * Clients may elect to send an alternative person at no extra charge. * FRA may cancel or postpone courses with insufficient enrolment. * Should any course be cancelled by FRA all course fees will be refunded.
