1 ASHRAEREPORTER This enewsletter is the work of the San Joaquin Chapter and not the Society April 2018 PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Welcome to our last Newsletter of the Year and my last President s Message! It has been an honor serving as your President. Your BOG team accomplished a lot, and I m excited to have been a part of that success. Many thanks to all the volunteers and local sponsors that also helped increase our chapter visibility and make a positive impact on our Student Branch. It was a pleasure working with the leadership team where everyone communicated well, worked together, and did their part to get the Desk through the Doorway. If you don t know the reference, it is a funny skit about a group that does not communicate well from a TV show called The Wire, specifically the Desk Episode*. Failure to communicate can happen in all types of teams and relationships, and that was not the case for your BOG team. As I said, your ASHRAE team worked great together and accomplished a lot. Thank you! We couldn t have done it without you. *The Wire The Desk Episode (caution: contains some foul language) -Joelon Upcoming Events Check out for more details or to register for events.
