4 EVENT PRESENTATION Date: 16 th and 17 th May 2017 Place: Passage Boulevard du Jardin Botanique 1000 Bruxelles 8h30 17h30 The fourth edi-on of the Systemic Economy Summit will gather entrepreneurs, managers, experts, poli-cs and students to progress around economic transi-on and new economic models. During two days, interac-ve conferences and workshops will be proposed about economic transi-on and development of Wise Ci-es. The program of the conferences is described in the following agenda, they will take place in the main auditorium with a capacity of 780 people. Furthermore, during the two days, par-cipants have the possibility to auend different workshops in smaller groups to apply tools introduced in the conferences to prac-cal projects as well as work on city cases. 4 to 5 workshops will be specific to a city in order to come up with new ideas and projects at the end of the summit to develop them in a more wise and sustainable way. 3

7 GOAL OF THE EVENT Our capitalis-c debt based linear economic model has reached its limits and is leading to over 20 big historical systemic challenges. The summit aims to educate, inspire and guide entrepreneurs, governments and ci-zens on what truly works, and to move to economic transi-on and to share best prac-ces. This year we are going to push, pull and co- create live projects which tackle mul-ple challenges. 4 to 6 ci-es or territories will play the systemic extrapreneurship game. All emerging projects will be incubated in respec-ve ci-es, and answer following condi-ons: Systemic = mul-stakeholder; sharing resources for more efficiency and smart collabora-on Tackling mulople challenges instead of linear solu-ons, for ex. housings, energy, health and jobs or, educa-on, mobility, culture, agriculture Semibenchmarked. Feasible. Learning from exis-ng projects let s not reinvent the wheel Including: they will have to create bridges to include genera-ons, cultures, excluded popula-ons 6

11 CITY CASES In parallel with the conferences, we will work intensively with 5 ci-es and territories of 3 con-nents to create new projects to boost their development whilst crea-ng a lot of societal value. We have selected 5 ci-es which have already developed a holis-c approach to their development.
