1 DOWNTOWN MESA EVENT SPONSORSHIP The Downtown Mesa Association has created an event assistance program for the fiscal year of July 2015 through June The purpose of this program is to encourage Downtown Mesa businesses to collaborate with one another to activate the square mile. CRITERIA AND TERMS 1. Approved projects must include Downtown Mesa branding in the form of a logo or mention by name in marketing materials as a sponsor. Final artwork (flyers, posters, etc.) must be approved by the Downtown Mesa Association to ensure brand compliance. 2. For events with 9 or less businesses participating the maximum allotment is $500. For applications with 10 or more participating businesses the maximum allotment is $1,000. If additional funds are needed, please note in the application below. 3. UII will cut a check to the event organizer for the full amount. A final budget is requested post event to see how the funds were spent. 4. Applicants are responsible for coordination of the event. If you require planning assistance, please note in the application. 5. Projects must be executed within the time frame of July 1, 2015 through June 30, Funding must be requested at least six months in advance. 7. Funding is limited. All applications are subject to review by DMA staff and approval is not guaranteed. Please completed applications to Cori Garcia at cori@downtownmesa.com or in person at 100 N.
