3 RCHASING CONFERENCE RCHASING CONFERENCE Information General information This is the 7 th consecutive year that the EIPM holds their annual conference. Each year we have the pleasure of welcoming more and more participants and the conference is now recognised as an important Networking event for all purchasing professionals across Europe. Despite this challenging and unpredictable business world we live in, this year s conference questions the role of purchasing as a function and expertise in the years to come. Over the two days, top academics, purchasing executives and consultants (from McKinsey, ATKearney, Compendium, PriceWaterhouse) will be exposing their views on the most important foreseeable changes and discussing the implications for the purchasing function and the people it involves. Conference Fees Early bird conference fee (before 18 th October): 1100 Euros (excluding VAT) The conference fee (after 18 th October) is: 1500 Euros (excluding VAT) Who should attend This conference is addressed to all Purchasing Professionals (Purchasing Directors, Managers, Buyers ) across Europe. Please note that uninvited Consultants are not allowed to attend the conference. Accommodation A group reservation has been made at the following hotel: Hotel Domaine de Divonne 4 *: Situated 15 km by taxi from Geneva Airport. The negotiated rate at the Domaine de Divonne is 150 Euros for a single room including breakfast per person per day + 1 euro tax per person per day. Transport The EIPM will organise three transfers by bus from Geneva airport to Divonne, as well as the return transfer, from Divonne to Geneva airport, at the end of the conference.
