It is a time to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Take this time to meet other Kiwanians from around the District who also want to share their lives and serve the children of the world. We will be celebrating our achievements from Dan s administrative year, and recognizing positive trends that clubs are realizing for this current year. We have planned programs that can help you to achieve your personal and club goals. We are very fortunate to have our Kiwanis International President-Elect, Jane Erickson joining us. I hope that you will have time to meet and talk with Jane and her husband, Gus, a past District. They are great examples of dedicated Kiwanians. We are pleased to welcome our Missouri-Arkansas District Circle K members who will be meeting jointly with us at this conference. These Kiwanis family members are a great asset to our District and fun to be around. 4 4 13 SPECIAL GUEST Jane Erickson Kiwanis International President Elect Jane M. Erickson of Bellevue, Nebraska, was elected as president-elect of Kiwanis International in June 2015 at the 100th Annual Kiwanis International Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. A 24-year Kiwanian, Jane has been a member of the Bellevue- Offutt club the past 18 years. Prior to that, she was a member of the Fort Dodge Noon Club in Iowa, serving as distinguished club president in She s been a K-Kids advisor for 16 years and was a Kiwanian of the Year in Camp Fund Raising Goal $100,000 A trustee of the Kiwanis International Foundation from , she was elected its president. She has served as chair or member of several Kiwanis International Foundation and Kiwanis International committees, including chair of the Women's 25th Anniversary Committee; is a Key Leader facilitator and recipient of Circle K International s McKitrick award; and is a Diamond-level George F. Hixson Fellow, Tablet of Honor recipient, Founders Circle, Kiwanis International Foundation's Heritage Society member, Walter Zeller Fellow and Mother s Day Fellow. Outside of Kiwanis, Jane is owner of The Wellness & Training Works in Bellevue. She is a member of St. Mary s Catholic parish, the Bellevue Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Education Commission and a mentor with Teammates, a school mentoring program. Jane and her husband, Gus, a past governor, have five children and seven grandchildren. 4 13
