You can now Pos t a Single Ad for Kijiji Buyer Discovery: 1) across Canada; or 2) Province-wide; or 3) continue to post Ads in a very specific local region (City of Toronto, or Lethbridge ) i.e. Buyers browsing or searching for your products in City of Toronto buyers will s ee Ontario-wide posted ads in the search results page. 21 4. Creating Ads Tips Ad Content: The most important part of your Ad is the content you provide to Buyers. All Content provided in your Ad is searchable on Kijiji so ensure clarity and important keywords are utilized. Provide a clear Title description of the product being promoted (recommend characters) Don t use all-caps when adding content Be specific in your content to attract buyers Consider content to attract both buyers Browsing a category or Searching Consider how your Ad will look on mobile, tablet & desktop platforms. Use multiple product photos, with a strong lead product image Use text overlay for sale or special notations Provide a call-to-action in your description to engage the Buyer contact me, buy-now, visit our store, on-sale, etc
22 5. Budget Controlling your Ad s visibility on Kijiji is easy with Admarkt. How does Admarkt decide which ads will be shown on page 1, 2, 3 etc. The Cost per click (CPC) value of your ad listing is a significant factor in determining your ads position for a specific Region + Category CPC is the charge a seller will incur when a user clicks on a sellers ad in the search results and results in a view-item-page (detailed listing information of the ad) A key factor in the value of CPC required is the seller competitiveness for the Region + Category you are posting... The more competitive typically means higher CPC Base CPC is $0.01
23 5. Budget Setting CPC Visibility and Budget control for Ads When creating your ad in Post Ad Flow, the second task after entering your ad content (photos, description, etc.) is to set your ads CPC value and Budget.
24 5. Budget Guide Control your Ad s visibility by defining the total spend per Ad (Ad Budget), and the level of Ad visibility you want (CPC) Define Your Ad CPC: Set the cost-per-click for the Ad. This will define the level of Ad visibility with Kijiji Buyers, placing your Ad closer to Page-1 the more competitive your spend. Define Your Ad Budget: Set the total spend you will allocate to the product Ad you are posting. When or If this amount is reached this Ad will pause. Optional - Define Your Daily: You have the option to define the daily maximum budget spend for each Ad. This controls the per day spend for the Ad, within the total Ad budget you defined above.
