In April, we celebrated the Month of the Military Child. This was a special time to honor the youngest among us who provide support and meaning to the sacrifices their parents endure. They show us courage and strength facing their own unique sacrifices and challenges. They show the pride and honor of being in a Military Family and we say a special thank you to these young people in our military communities! May brought a time of reflection and remembrances of lives that have been sacrificed for our Country. For many families Memorial Day brought fond memories, painful recollections, and a time to reflect on loved ones who are no longer here with friends and families. For the families who were remembering a fallen loved one you are forever in the nation s thoughts and prayers. For those who gave the ultimate sacrifice we will always remember, honor and Salute You! June brought in a time of celebration for the Army. This year the Army celebrated its 240 th birthday. Although the Army has faced many changes and challenges it remains the greatest Army in the World because of the men and women who serve every day. They continue to prove our Army is the Best with history and world changing successes. To the Army.Happy Birthday! To our Veterans and those who continue to serve a heartfelt Thank You! AUSA Braxton Bragg Chapter wishes you a wonderful summer with family and friends! 1
