Currently a licensed Architect in the State of Oklahoma and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Washington D.C. As a Structural Engineer I am licensed in the states of Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Minnesota. Also, I am a LEED AP BD+C Certified Professional. Further, I hold an Airline Transport License, with Single, Muliengine, and Seaplane pilot authorities, and Certified Flight Instructor, with Instrument, Multiengine, Glider, Seaplane, and a FAA Gold Seal Certification. With this background I would like to offer my expertise and experience to my hometown community. I believe I am well versed in city planning, execution and continued growth of the community. The council has had a great history of making good decisions for this community and I would like the opportunity to continue that fine effort. I am expecially interested in our local government in Lee's Summit. My recent past experience as President of two major corporations has prepared me well for the challenges of working within the government framework. Much of the work performed was with the Federal government. My skills include management of complex organizations, change leadership, strategic planning,teambuilding, organizational assessment, financial stability, building concensus within diverse groups, plan implementation and execution,and most importantly high courage decision making. I am volunteering and would like to be considered to be appointed the overall leader of this area. I am certain I can use my skills and experience to work with this Team to achieve the established goals.

I have worked as a team leader for 32 of my 36 years of employment, I can get things done and certainly don't mind working hard to accomplish goals. I am comfortable being a team member and again know how to work within the team and get things done Other participation: I am a member of Chamber, volunteer for the Oktoberfest event, work with local Rotary in some of their projects and am currently working on Oktoberfest for 2012 Interested in serving on: Planning Commission,Strategic Plan Other interests: I have on old corvette that I tinker around and show on occassion. I like legislative events, fishing, hunting and enjoy all of the local and national team sports.
