(4.3) Conducts Emergency Action Plan drills for communication personnel and crew. (4.4) Conducts training for department and other officers on the procedures for preparing Special Incident Reporting Messages. (5.0) Thorough knowledge of OPNAV Instruction for reporting. (5.1) Conducts drills in variety of operational situations. (5.2) Administers and monitors the lockout/tagout program. (6.0) Trains personnel in the command's lockout/tagout procedures. (6.1) Reviews logs and procedures. (6.2) Provides feedback to Chief Engineer on new equipment/systems installed. (6.3) Coordinates the scheduling of equipment maintenance and repair. (7.0) Utilizing the SAMM program, resulting in a high maintenance accomplishment percentage. (7.1) Training of personnel in equipment maintenance and repair. (7.2) Coordinates with contractors and repair personnel with maximum results. (7.3) Employs a basic knowledge of electronic theory and performs required equipment inspection, evaluation, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of computer and communications systems. (8.0)
