Emergency Support Function (ESF) Committee Reports ESF 1 Transportation & Evacuation Chairman Webre reported there are no changes in contra-flow and that if anyone had remaining questions or needed help regarding Placarding to call Crystal Moran, AP OHSEP Operations Section Chief. LA DOTD: Joey Tureau Reported upcoming projects Site Work Description Closure/ Traffic Impact Est. Date Start Est. Completion Sunshine Bridge Painting of the Sunshine Bridge There will be one lane closure at times. One lane will be available at all times. LA Hwy 73: North of I-10 to Airline Hwy Hwy Hwy 42 La 74/ La 928 (Bluff Rd.) I-10 Sign Replacement in Ascension I-10 Median Cable Barrier Airline Hwy (US 61) Large project to improve roadway resulting in 3 lane hwy. Project will include several Sewer and other utility projects under the road bed. Be prepared for extended traffic impacts. Roundabout will be installed at this intersection. Current construction is not complete and will be reworked. Look for this intersection and traffic impacts for a little while longer. Sign Replacement along I10 Corridor. Cable Barrier will be installed along the interstate. To improve traffic flow, several median opening and turn lanes will be removed. End result will provide longer turning lanes at remaining openings. Lane closures will be allowed during off peak times. Traffic will be hindered during construction. We will now have a way to broadcast from EOC during an event. New Business James LeBlanc noted that CAER had a new Treasurer Ms. Cheryl Chris and that Mike Hannan was leaving for new opportunity in Washington, DC. Formation of Bylaws Review Committee Tabled for Committee by Chairman Webre Randall Zeringue, Shell Pipeline: They are developing an online Pipeline Training and are asking for volunteers to take the training and provide feedback on the product. Should be ready to start soon. Please contact Randall for more information. Next LEPC Meeting is set for Tuesday, December 13, 2011 *Please Note Meeting Location Change December Meeting will be at Lamar Dixon Expo Center Banquet Room and will be sponsored by Total Energy.
