2 TWISTER BINS FOR FLEXIBLE AND RELIABLE GRAIN STORAGE The Mepu Twister bins have been designed to meet the requirements of modern grain storage down to the smallest details. You can choose a unit of the most suitable size and model, complete with all the accessories required. Modern bins are affordable and quick to install. The range includes three different types: flat bottom bins, traditional concrete cone bottom bins and steel hopper bottom bins. Twister bins are metres in diameter and 55-1,857 m3 in volume. Emptying options include a sweep auger with horizontal power head, inclined 22 Power head, or vertical power head with 4.5-metre vertical screw, and a conventional auger leadthrough to the bin. The bins are suitable for storage of all types of grain. The steel hopper bottom bins can be used in a versatile manner for buffer storage or as a pellet bin. EASY AND QUICK TO ASSEMBLE The round Twister bins are known all over the world. The high-quality and durable bins are manufactured in Canada. Standard delivery includes surface-treated wall and roof elements, wall stiffeners, a large manhole, ladders, filling aperture and inspection hatch on the roof, bolts and nuts. Bin assembly by bolt joints is easy and quick. The standard delivery of steel hopper bottom bins also includes a 40 steel cone bottom with legs and an inspection hatch in the cone. Accessories include auger lead-through and protection pipes, sweep auger selected depending on the silo size with straight, inclined, or 4.5-metre vertical power head screw, grain level switch, ventilated bottom and fan. The concrete foundation form available for models B14, B19, B22, and B25 ensures a complete solution. Mepu Oy reserves the right to make changes in the product range.

3 CONCRETE CONE BOTTOM BINS There are several emptying options for Twister bins. In case of concrete cone bottom bins, the auger lead-through has been carefully designed large enough for emptying the bin using the most efficient and robust screw auger. 5 STEEL HOPPER BOTTOM BINS Steel hopper bottom bins can be equipped with a ventilation system, in which case the bin is excellently usable for dry grain cooling. Owing to the easy-to-open, large emptying hatch, the bin s steel cone bottom at a 40 angle is emptied efficiently. Steel hopper bottom bin models can be upgraded to ventilated silos using The Next Generation Rocket ventilation system bringing flexibility to grain storage. Grain can be stored in bins equipped with a ventilation system directly after threshing, which means that the bin can also be utilised for buffer storage.
