7 Anne Trevarthen Memorial The Ron Brown Scholars Varies February 15, Early deadline: November 1; Final deadline January 9 This one-time scholarship will be presented each April to a high-school senior who will be attending the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Eligible applicants must demonstrate a personal connection to American Indian culture and traditions, as well as evidence of personal commitment to celebrating diversity and to bridging differences between disparate groups. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate knowledge of an/or involvement with one of Virginia s state recognized Tribes. The amount of the scholarship is based on the annual return of the endowment, and may vary year to year.
